I think 'Weird punk' is now the most accurate (yet still vague) genre I like to hear when I'm being described something I'm about to hear or see. That might include a lot of 'different for the sake of different' but is probably still a good chance to take and generally includes sounds I can get into in the moment.
Eat Skull and Little Claw both played great sets to a handful of lucky people, and while it was one of the best sounding Monday nights I've seen, I wish more people would have know about this.
Throw this on the ever growing stack of unique and memorable shows from Mark Pesci, who hasn't let me regret any chances I've taken by going to numerous shows of his, not knowing any bands in advance and just trusting his taste.

i wish i had come to this. you keep posting photos of things i wanted to but things keep getting in the way of attending.
also your self portait photo is sick as hell. it took me a while to find your face.
