Extermination Music Night Nine.
Teenanger have established them selves as a more then decent, not to miss new band so fast.
The place got really sketchy the moment the set ended and the crowd appeared to transition to a different sort of group. There were some looted or stolen bags/purses I heard of and this was the least at inspired i've felt - maybe the vulnerability of being so next to the high way, the cops on the over pass watching and total rust on everything you could touch. After the set my mood lowered more - atleast compared to the happy scene of the previous EMN at the Symes transfer station. I think this reaction is largely a result of the location, the regulars were soon outnumbered by a mostly unknown and unassociated group of random's who had heard of it earlier that night as a more industrial rave style party (as apposed to a multimedia art night)- don't jump all over the inaccurate genre labels … this is all fairly vague, one perspective and useless as I try to remember the night (this is being typed from memory, it's September 14th 08).
I'll dull this down further and mention the obvious idea that this "step out the Comfort Zone" is kind of the point. Of course I was waiting for the guy ("Wook E.") who climbed the bridge to fall hard.
No Secret anymore :

This night also resulted in a surprisingly intentional article in EYE weekly exposing all past locations and some issues of legalities about the EMN series. Dan and Matt did the interview and gave all the info, I took the photos oddly enough.
