the Markinside have been one of my favorite bands since around 2004 so I was more then excited to see them play live, since I haven’t had the chance for about 9 months and barely remember anything from that last show, so really much longer then that. Lots seems to have changed, or at least one negative aspect of this set was that I didn’t recognize a single song ! As far as I know, they’ve released a 7inch on m7 and the amazing ‘Static / Crash’ full length from 2005 – but the set was all recent unreleased work that no one’s really heard. Anyways, I love the band and this isn’t to say that the new songs aren’t good, but I really hope they don’t abandon the older tracks.
