This night was one huge party. Well, at the start it was more like a typical show but shortly after Acid Reflux and Libyans, close to a few hundred people came in and within 20 minutes every inch of the place was totally packed

I wasn’t in a state to really comment on the music, like perfect playing and screw-ups all sounded wonderful so … for Brutal Knights I damaged a $1400 camera lens 30 seconds into the first song, and then later lost a flash I had just bought last week. Everything was so energetic – everyone was so positive (-ly trashed) and nice, I wasn’t even upset about the gear, I just wanted to thrash and document (back and fourth) ….

Later someone found the flash – I forgot your name but we’ve talked at a few other shows - thanks so much.

When I got home I took a pair of pliers and bent the damaged metal lens hood back in place, so aside from looking like it was dropped on the concrete (which it was) it works fine.
