entry, by Jess

Finally back home in Toronto. We drove in from Guelph the night before and stayed in the city which was nice. Normally I would say I like waking up in my own bed, but the truth is, I had just moved 3 days before I left on this tour, and spent the first 2 days after I moved in Ottawa, so I didnt really have a bed at this point.

We all crashed at my girlfriend Vanessa's house since my place was just a huge mash of boxes and I didnt even have a bed in it yet.

I woke up and got a few things done around the city that I hadnt been able to do having been gone for a week which was awsome, and headed over to the show just in time for Means set. I was under the impression that this show wouldnt be as good as some of the others just because of a last minute venue change as well as how many other things were happening in Toronto that same night, including the Yeah Yeah Yeah's show which David was at taking photos as well.

I walk into the venue from the back and to my surprise there is already a huge amount of people there which was awsome to see. As the night went on it kept getting more and more packed and by the time Shai Hulud went on I was told the show had sold out.

By the time Misery Signals went on the place was insanely hot and everyone was dripping with sweat. That didnt stop the whole place from going mental for them though.

It was sad to see the tour end because all the bands were so amazing and in the 5 days I was with them I had such a good time.

This day was also Stu Ross who plays guitar in Misery Signals birthday, so all the bands gave him a cake and sang for him after the show. We also dumped a huge bag of ice cold water on him and got some sweet photos of it.

re: photo #8 from snap shots
I hope you don't mind me using these photos of Shai Hulud for their facebook page. If you have any objections let me know and I'll remove them.
