The Mark Inside began as a papier mache/multimedia art experiment in
late 1999, the result of years of brainstorming by a pair of Czech
students raised in the school of Nai-Fregg rage meditation. The project
started promisingly, but started to lose steam when the Czech
government began performing underground biological experiments on art
students specializing in papier mache. With the pair of students now a
quartet, their creative focus became less like a precision laser, and a
lot more like a non-precision flashlight. The whole sad saga came to a
violent end when one of the boys took an axe to his own limbs (directly
after taking the same axe to the skulls of the other three). Their
life's work was destroyed and their names forgotten, in hopes that no
further nightmarish hellscapes unfolded.
